HiOSO FC830AE is an intelligent 10/100M adaptive fast Ethernet optical transceiver (also known as photoelectric media converter) with a unique Link Failure Alert function. 10Base-T and 100Base-TX twisted pair electrical signals can be converted to 100Base-FX optical signals. It extends the transmission distance of the network from the copper wire limit of 100 meters to 120Km, and realizes the data transmission between the two kinds of network connection media by using the two network transmission technologies of data link 2-layer store-and-forward mode or physical 1-layer pass-through mode. The maximum transmission distance is 120KM, supporting dual-fiber multi-mode, dual-fiber single-mode and single-fiber single-mode fiber transmission.
